There are swirling rumors Angelina Jolie is making her six kids choose between her and their dad, Brad Pitt. As the high-profile couple's divorce and custody battle continue, it looks like the 43-year-old star is desperate to have her children's custody by begging them to choose her.
A gossip magazine claimed Jolie is doing everything so Pitt can't get joint custody of their children. The "Salt" star seems not to care even if she is trying to turn her kids against their father.
A so-called insider even said Jolie already got his two eldest boys', Maddox, 17, and Pax, 14, sympathy. So she is now working out to get the other four, Zahara, 13, Shiloh, 12, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 10, on her side.
She is even spoiling them with everything they want from shopping to hiking so that she can get their custody. The tipster added Jolie would "resort to any dirty trick" to win them all. Allegedly, Pitt's soon-to-be-former wife wants her kids to "tell the judge they want to live with her" instead of Pitt. "She's begging them, 'Choose me!'" the insider said.
However, Gossip Cop, via MSN, debunked this story. A source close to Jolie and Pitt said there is no truth behind this tale. It was recently reported the "Maleficent" star now focused to heal her family. She even supports the reconciliation of her kids and their father.
Meanwhile, Hollywood Life reported despite Jolie and Pitt's bloody custody battle, it brings the humanitarian and his son, Maddox, closer together. The two's relationship blossoms as they go through the hardest time of their lives.
An insider revealed Jolie and Maddox's bond "has never been stronger." Although they already have a tight connection from the start, his mother's divorce and custody battle with Pitt strengthens their union. The mother and son rely more on each other today.
Although Maddox is already wised "beyond his years," Jolie's divorce with Pitt shows how matured he thinks in spite of his age. "He's proven his maturity and wisdom is much greater than that of the average 17-year-old," a source said.
A judge ordered Pitt could see his children "every other day" on August 16. Now, Jolie continuously fights to get the full custody of Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Vivienne, and Knox. Their current arrangement over their children will remain the same until a "permanent agreement" has reached the court.
