Google Pixel 3 XL Available To Early Bird At Twice The Price
The Google Pixel 3 XL is set for its official launch on Oct. 9, 2018, with mobile phone consumers eager to get their hands on one. Although most don’t have to wait long to get one, a Hong Kong retailer has reportedly already sold one for a whopping $2,000.
The retail price is practically double than what the Google Pixel 3 XL would cost once launched. For those who have the cash to burn, taking up the WahPhone Digital on its offer of HK$15,880 or approximately $2,030 may be considered, Engadget said. Take note that the word out is that the Google Pixel 3 will cost roughly $649 while the Pixel 3 XL version is tipped at $749.
Outrageous as it may sound, there are a select few who would actually bite this offer. While this may be a bit off considering the mobile phone offerings are normally offered after they are launched, Google apparently cannot control this practice and the price that shops would command. Similar to other buyers, the main goal here is to be the first to get the latest device
Among the features that most are eager to see is the massive 6.3-inch display that the device and powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC. The base model will have 4 GB of RAM, 128 GB storage capacity and run on the latest Android Pie 9.0. Though it was mentioned, it is likely that there will be high RAM + ROM options for folks wanting a more powerful handset.
The built-in cameras are also something most would want to try out. As mentioned in a previous post, the Google Pixel 3XL will have a single main 12.2 MP camera and a dual 8.1 MP front-facing camera.
Other than the actual specs of the Google Pixel 3XL, it will also come with the necessary accessories. As spotted in the unboxing, included are a pair of Pixel USB-C earphones, a couple of dongles, including USB-C-to-3.5m and USB-C-to-USB-A, as well as a USB-C charging cable, BGR said.
There are still plenty of other capabilities and features that the Google Pixel 3 XL may have in store, a prime reason why most are eager to find out what the company has up its sleeves at the New York event. The cameras may pale in comparison to the triple-cam setup the Huawei P20 Pro has to offer although some installed apps could more than makeup for it.
The Google Pixel 3 XL is expected to be officially revealed Oct. 9 with the right price tag beside it. Hence, it would be best to prolong one’s patience and avoid spending double on the unscheduled offering from stores like the one in Hong Kong.
