Nam Joo Hyuk To Romance Han Ji Min In New TV Series
Fans of Nam Joo Hyuk are in for a treat. The 24-year-old South Korean actor-model has been cast in a lead role opposite actress Han Ji Min in the upcoming JTBC series "Dazzling" (tentative title).
The exciting news came to light when Soompi reported that Nam Joo Hyuk, who first gained widespread fame after starring as Jung Joon Hyung in 2016's "Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo," has finally accepted the offer to star as Lee Joon Ha in the upcoming JTBC series.
Lee Joon Ha is an ordinary man who wants to become a renowned reporter. Just when he is about to lose hope in achieving his dream, he suddenly gets involved with Kim Hye Ja (Han Ji Min), a positive woman who finds herself with the special ability to travel through time.
To make things more exciting, Nam Joo Hyuk and Han Ji Min will be joined by Son Ho Joon ("Terius Behind Me" and "Go Back Couple." The latter will play Kim Hye Ja's older brother, Kim Young Soo, who is not bogged down by time and is full of mischief. He works as a content creator.
"Dazzling" will benefit from the creativity of director Kim Seok Yoon, whose previous works include 2016's "Listen To Love," 2015's "Awl," 2011-2012's "Living Among The Rich" and 2004's "Old Miss Diary." Screenwriters Lee Nam Kyu and Kim Soo Jin are also on board in the said project.
The upcoming JTBC series marks Nam Joo Hyuk's return to the television screen since wrapping up "The Bride of Habaek" in 2017. As for Han Ji Min, it is her follow-up to the recently finished tvN romantic fantasy series, "Familiar Wife."
As of press time, Nam Joo Hyuk is currently preparing for his first solo fan meeting event in Japan, Hello Kpop reported. It is set to take place on Nov. 24, Saturday at the AiiA 2.5 Theater in Tokyo, Japan. There will be two shows - 3 PM and 7 PM local time.
