Viz Media has announced the official release date of "One Punch Man" Season 2. Little details about the anime series' come back now emerge, and it includes a familiar voice's return.

Viz Media shared a short video of JAM Project's Hironobu Kageyama on Twitter, confirming the group's return to singing "One Punch Man" Season 2's official opening song. "For the second season of 'One Punch Man' starting in April 2019, JAM Project will be handling the opening theme song once again," he said.

Hironobu Kageyama then asked everyone to wait for "One Punch Man" Season 2's new song after the success of the previous season's official track, "The Hero." The JAM Project member admitted that he was surprised to know that the anime series also has a lot of fans in the United States. Just like the Asian fans, he is perfectly sure that the show's international supporters are excited, too.

Talking about "One Punch Man" Season 2's new opening song, Hironobu Kageyama added that just like "The Hero," it would be something that would make everybody "pump up." He even said that it would be the greatest theme song ever.

According to Comic Book, JAM Project has worked on anime's theme songs just like in "One Punch Man" Season 2. The group members are voice actors who are behind the famous anime characters. The band includes Masaaki Endoh, Masami Okui, and more.

Aside from "One Punch Man" Season 2's theme song, JAM Project already created a lot of tracks for different anime series since they started. Other shows included on their list are "Yu-Gi-Oh! EX" and "Super Robot Wars."

Viz Media earlier announced on Twitter that "One Punch Man" Season 2 would be out in April 2019. The media company also gave a glimpse of the anime series' trailer. However, it didn't give any concrete details about the show.

Hidden Remote reported that "One Punch Man" Season 2's new villain would be Garou. He is Bang's former student who got excommunicated after running amok in the dojo where he trained.

Garou has no intention to become a Hero. He is more interested in monsters and even transformed himself into one during the Monster Association arc that made him a Human Monster. Hence, it is more likely that he would face Saitama in "One Punch Man" Season 2.

Garou would attack the Hero Association in "One Punch Man" Season 2. The new villain planned to spread his evil-doing in Z-City and wanted to host a slaughter party. Fans might see the Garou they saw in the manga series in the anime series, but they still have to wait and see how the show would roll it.
