Monday's release of the second trailer for Captain Marvel had fans wondering about the preview for the sequel of Avengers: Infinity War. Multiple sources are saying that the Avengers 4 teaser trailer will arrive this week.

The trailer for the anticipated sequel comes way ahead of the film's release in May 2019. It arrives sooner and before the year ends. According to SuperBroMovies writer Daniel R, the preview drops this Friday.

Marvel has yet to reveal the release date for the Avengers 4 trailer, but the insider claims Dec. 7 is final. The teaser will arrive in the morning.

It is unclear whether this information came from reliable sources. After all, there have been several dates tossed around before. Initially, the trailer was rumored to arrive on Nov. 28, a year after the release of the Avengers: Infinity War trailer. Then fans expected it to arrive on Black Friday, but obviously, no trailer arrived.

Then the hype escalated after the studios announced that the second Captain Marvel trailer would arrive on Cyber Monday, which did happen when it aired during Monday Night Football. Fans then crossed their fingers that the Avengers 4 teaser trailer will arrive on Wednesday.

However, when this did not happen fans were led to believe that it was canceled to pay respect to the late President George H.W. Bush. It was the former U.S. president's state funeral. Marvel had supposedly moved the release to Friday, although the studios have not responded to requests for confirmation.

Aside from the release of the Avengers 4 teaser trailer, DanielR likewise mentioned that a preview for the Spider-Man: Homecoming sequel, Spider-Man: Far From Home, will arrive on Saturday, Dec. 8. Collider vouched for this release through an insider who claimed the trailer would be aired during the Sony Panel at Comic-Con Experience in San Paulo, Brazil.

The off chance that the Avengers 4 trailer also airs at the Comic-Con may be slim. However, if it does not come by Friday then fans are likely to expect it to arrive on Saturday along with the Spider-Man: Far From Home preview.

Regardless, viewers should take this new information with a grain of salt until Marvel officially announces a release date. Until then, fans can continue wondering and pleading brothers and co-directors Joe and Anthony Russo for details about the preview. Followers have taken to social media to ask the filmmakers to release the Avengers 4 trailer soon through the Twitter hashtag #MarvelVsTheFans.
