'Tom Clancy's The Division 2' Will Be Exclusively Available On Epic And UPlay; PC Specifications Finally Revealed
The high anticipation for the upcoming Tom Clancy's The Division 2 game comes as no surprise due to its predecessor's undeniable success. Earlier this week, Ubisoft revealed that the PC version of the sequel to the popular game would be released on Epic Games Store and UPlay exclusively.
Aside from Tom Clancy's The Division 2, Epic Games also revealed that it has also partnered with Ubisoft on some yet-to-be-announced games. The French video game company has given other details about the new titles, but it shared that announcements will be made very soon.
"We entrust Epic to deliver a smooth journey for our fans, from preordering the game and enjoying our Beta to the launch of Tom Clancy's The Division 2 on March 15," Vice President of Partnerships Chris Early stated. "Epic continues to disrupt the videogame industry, and their third-party digital distribution model is the latest example, and something Ubisoft wants to support," the Ubisoft board member added.
For starters, Tom Clancy's The Division 2 is a third-person military shooter game that tasks the players to fight against the enemies who try to take full control of the country. Set in Washington D.C., several months after a deadly virus was released in the Big Apple, players are expected to save the crumbling state and help the people who are suffering from the greatest jam in human history.
Meanwhile, Ubisoft also announced the system requirements for Tom Clancy's The Division 2 PC version. The recommended (1080p, 60 FPS) requirements include Windows 7 or above operating system, AMD Ryzen 5 1500X or Intel Core i7-4790 GPU, 8 GB RAM, 4 GB VRAM, and DirectX 11 or above.
To have the best gaming experience, Tom Clancy's The Division 2 players should have: Windows 7 or above operating system, AMD Radeon VII or Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 TI GPU, 16 GB RAM, 11 GB VRAM and DirectX 11 or 12. To know more about the requirements of each performance type, click the link here.
Another interesting fact about the imminent Tom Clancy's The Division 2 is that the community is somehow involved in the development process. Ubisoft considered the fans' requests and decided to offer free DLC for all players and a substantial campaign that would give the best user experience.
The game will be released on Mar. 15, 2019, on Xbox One, Xbox X, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC. To preorder and get exclusive beta access, you may register here. Stay tuned for the latest news and updates about Tom Clancy's The Division 2.
