Katie Holmes Didn't Tell Jamie Foxx To Dump Leonardo DiCaprio, Despite Report
Leonardo DiCaprio and Jamie Foxx are known to be friends, a relationship which started after their collaboration in a movie called "Django Unchained." However, there is a report claiming that Katie Holmes told the latter to dump the former.
According to Gossip Cop, this claim is false and is considered a ridiculous premise. The narrative came from an online tabloid, which has a supposed insider. The alleged tipster suggests that Holmes does not want Foxx to associate himself with the "Inception" actor.
The site claims that Holmes "knows Leo's one of the biggest skirt-chasers in Hollywood and Jamie already has a sweet tooth for eye candy." The outlet's questionable source adds, "She wants Jamie to settle down into family mode with her and Suri and not go catting around. If he hangs with Leo, he's sure to get into trouble."
Gossip Cop clarifies that this narrative is bogus from the very start. After all, it has been widely established by reputable outlets such as People that Holmes and Foxx "have their own separate lives and they aren't trying to join them together." The publication also noted that Foxx "hasn't spent much time" with Holmes' daughter. In other words, the titular actress is nowhere near the idea of begging him to settle down and play the role of a family man.
Still, the magazine's supposed source continues, "Katie doesn't want Jamie hanging around Leo. She is desperate for Jamie to commit and doesn't want him living it up with one of Hollywood's most notorious playboys." The seemingly phony tipster adds, "Her biggest fear is that Jamie will be sucked back into that world. She's made it clear that if he wants a future with her, he needs to keep his distance from Leo."
What the tabloid fails to mention is the fact that Holmes and DiCaprio sat together at a private table in a party celebrating Foxx's 50th birthday last December. If Holmes disliked the Oscar-winning actor, she would have likely avoided him at the large bash. Instead, the actress sat with him while Foxx performed on stage.
Regardless, the outlet's story is based on claims from an anonymous and untraceable "source," but Gossip Cop checked in with Holmes' spokesperson, who tells us on the record that the article is "untrue."
It is worth noting that Holmes and Foxx love to spend time together, but only if their respective schedules allow it. But as far as being a committed couple is concerned, they are not - at least in the traditional sense.
