Sean Combs Upset Kanye West Changes His Name To 'Ye', Report Claims
Sean Combs is upset because Kanye West changes his name to "Ye," according to a new report. However, this story has been debunked and set straight for the record.
Combs, who is an American rapper, changed his names several times from Puff Daddy, Puffy, Brother Love, B. Love, P. Diddy, and now Diddy. Just last month, West went on Twitter to announce he will be changing his name to Ye, saying: "The being formally known as Kanye West. I am YE." Now, National Enquirer claims Combs thinks West is stealing his ways by switching up his name.
An alleged source of the tabloid asserted that most people couldn't tell what Combs does for a living, but everyone knows his names, so the rapper is now upset as West has been copying his ways and he should be called "Kanye Copycat." But from here, the statement seemed to be suspicious as Combs is a rapper and a producer and most people are aware of what he does for a living.
According to Gossip Cop, the claim of the tabloid only comes from an untraceable "source," and a rep for Combs confirmed the report is "pure fiction." The spokesperson, who is qualified to speak in behalf of the rapper, noted that the story isn't true at all, despite the claim of the non-existent tipster.
It can also be noted that Combs has been very vocal and not afraid to show grievances with his peers, particularly with West. The rapper slammed his fellow rapper on Instagram just last week after a meeting with Donald Trump at the White House. But then, he didn't say anything about West changing his name into Ye.

Meanwhile, this is not the first time National Enquirer made a story about tWest. Gossip Cop busted the tabloid last year for claiming he was planning to build his own "Oval Office," which will be built inside his house, but until now, that claim never happened.
Another story has been debunked by Gossip Cop, reported by HollywoodLife, claiming the rapper was furious as he wasn't on Forbes' list of the five richest rappers. But of course, the list was according to the financial statistics of the rappers, and not based on the opinion of the magazine. A rep for West said the claim was absurd and he wasn't furious that he's not included in the list.
