Toyota Unveils 2020 Camry TRD and Avalon TRD: Two New & Improved Sedans To Rule The Road
Toyota is rolling high on its wheels. The company recently launched its next-gen 2020 Corolla in China. Just within days of the same, the company launched two big surprises again. The company just unveiled the new TRD editions of Camry and Avalon. The earlier editions of Toyota Camry and Toyota Avalon were regarded as simple & decent vehicles. But the brand new Toyota Camry TRD & Toyota Avalon TRD can be regarded as one of the tops in class in all respect.
According to The Car Connection, Toyota was expected to uncover the wraps from its newest TRD versions of Camry and Avalon sedans at 2018 Los Angeles auto show. It now seems that the company has kept its promise with full glory. Toyota Camry TRD and Avalon TRD sport spectacular designs and superlative range of specs. The latest Camry TRD holds a new range of body kits, including a revamped front splitter, side skirts, and rear diffuser. These relevant and beneficial for the high-speed stability of the car.
As per a report by ROADSHOW by Cnet, Toyota Camry TRD comes with a new 9-inch matte black alloy wheels. These wheels are covered by standard Bridgestone Potenza summer tires (235/40R19). The front grille seems to be sharper with Red pinstripes, brake calipers, and badges. Camry TRD also comes with three options for its wheels.
The Red body variant of the car comes with the unique black alloys, whereas the other color editions of Toyota Camry TRD will reportedly have white and silver alloy options. However, this insight hasn't been officially confirmed by Toyota yet. The new Camry TRD boasts 3.5-liter V6 engine with 301 horsepower capacity and eight-speed automatic transmission system. the standard edition of pipes from the converters has been replaced with a TRD dual exhaust, all the way to the tail.
Toyota Avalon TRD is also impressive in all its possible aspects. Many of the front-side features of the Camry TRD are the same as those of Avalon TRD. Avalon TRD boasts 19-inch matte black wheels with ethnic finishing with black painted aggressive aero and red painted all ends with TRD badging.
Besides these, Avalon TRD flaunts thicker Underbody, "the ride height is 0.6 inches lower, and the suspension's been thoroughly revised for better driving dynamics. The brakes are bigger, and there's a louder exhaust system bolted to the V6. Safety systems, including auto brake, are standard on both cars." Toyota's both TRDs will go on sale starting this fall with reportedly limited stocks. The price range for both models is not known yet.
