A lot of automotive enthusiasts generally know Lamborghini for its impressive lineup of exotic vehicles. Yet, only a few individuals are aware that the famous Italian marque also has an SUV available in the catalog. By default, it is a sleek and mean-looking machine that is designed to turn heads and perform like a supercar on the road. Now that the Lamborghini Urus is available across several dealerships, it was only a matter of time before a custom body kit from companies such as Vorsteiner hits the market.

First of all, the existence of the SUV might ruffle a few feathers among the brand's purists, but the majority of consumers are apparently excited to welcome the new addition. The default appearance already conveys an aggressive form factor, yet Motor1 notes that the custom body kit enhances it even further. While the parts are not yet available now, it is slated to ship out to customers early next year.

The modification can quickly take your stock Lamborghini Urus and drape an extra layer of style all over its exterior. The body kit set includes several upgrades. Buyers will notice a unique design applied to the carbon fiber hood, which makes it stand out from the original. There is also a notable change with the lower splitter that extends a little more than the stock option. A quick glance at the rear end reveals other tweaks made to the wing, diffuser, and spoiler. It seems clear that Vorsteiner wanted to give the SUV a striking look to make it stand out from the rest.

Some say that the entire setup appears to be over-the-top, yet others find it outstanding. On the other hand, it looks like the entire configuration is purely aesthetic. This means that the souped-up transport will perform the way the manufacturer intended it to be.

Without the Vorsteiner body kit installed, the Lamborghini Urus remains a beast when it comes to overall performance. Within the engine bay sits a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine. It is capable of pushing out 641 horsepower alongside 627 pound-feet of torque. It is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission that shifts power to all of its four wheels. The Times 15 reports that it is capable of a zero to 62 miles per hour acceleration in just 3.59 seconds. Insiders suggest that a hybrid model will make its debut sometime next year, while a single-make racing series is scheduled for 2020 that will showcase what the SUV can do.
