January brings back nostalgia as Nintendo announced two classic gameplay will arrive om Switch Online - The Adventure of Link and Blaster Master.
On the official website of Nintendo, the company confirmed the upcoming classic games on Switch Online. Apart from that, it also announced the date it will be available on NES library, which is set for Wednesday, Jan. 16.

What to expect?

Blaster Master

Nintendo describes Blaster Master as a platform and run-and-gun shooter video game. It was released on June 17, 1988. You will encounter an endless maze of tunnels and need to seek secret passages for an escape. One of the goals of the player is to destroy the Plutonium Boss and his mutant cronies before these warlords destroy the earth.

Zelda II: The Adventure of Link

Zelda II: The Adventure of Link was released on January 14, 1987, for the Family Computer. It is an action role-playing game and it is the sequel to the original The Legend of Zelda. The protagonist of this gameplay is Link and he needs to save Princess Zelda. In the story, she has fallen under a sleeping spell.

In this sequel, Link returns to Hyrule to search for the Triforce. He needs to awaken ZeldaTM from an endless sleep and save Hyrule from ruin. Players will play as Link. The quest requires the character to learn magic spells, talk to people in towns to get clues, collect items to increase power and explore six palaces where the underlings of the evil Ganon await.

Nintendo has also released a trailer video revealing the release date of the two classic games. It shows a few clips that players should expect on the games. Most of the clips bring back nostalgia.

The company announced that Nintendo Switch Online members can gain access to online play and Save Data Cloud backup in compatible games. Apart from that, there is a smartphone app that enhances the features of supported games. Nintendo Switch Online members with a paid membership can purchase Nintendo Entertainment System controllers to enjoy the games more.

Nintendo reminds its fans that stable internet connection and compatible smartphone are required to use its app. Data charges may apply and Nintendo Account age 13 and above required. Features like Online play, Save Data Cloud backup, and Nintendo Switch Online smartphone app are available in compatible games, but Not available in all countries.
