According to Times of India, Kamal Hasaan revealed he might quit acting and focus on working, instead, on his political party. But, he recently announced the coming of "Indian 2" with the original film director Shankar Panicker's return. The two will once again work together after over two decades.

Kajal Aggarwal will play the female lead opposite Kamal Hasaan in "Indian 2." Aside from the 33-year-old actress, there are also rumors the filmmakers are planning to cast the South Korean actress Suzy Bae for the film.

Shankar Panicker is on a location hunt in Taiwan to shoot some "Indian 2" scenes. Here, Suzy Bae will play an important role alongside Kamal Haasan.

The News Media reported the talks are now ongoing to have Suzy Bae in "Indian 2." However, neither Lee Min Ho's ex's agency, JYP Entertainment, nor the production firm behind the film, Lyca Productions, have yet to confirm her casting.

KPop High India's report was filled with excited Indian fans comments about Suzy Bae's possible inclusion in "Indian 2." "OMG! This is amazing. If this comes true, then definitely all the Indian K-Pop fans will go mad. Hope this Indian-Korean connection comes true," one fan commented. Another one would like to request for the former Miss A member to have a major role in the movie because she deserves it.

"Indian 2" production is about to commence in the third week of January. Anirudh Ravichander will compose its tunes while Ravi Varman will handle the camera.

"Indian 2" will be a bilingual film set in Tamil and Telugu. It will be produced by the known producer Dil Raju but taken over by Lyca Productions.

Meanwhile, Kamal Haasan is busy these days. The release of the long-delayed "Vishwaroopam 2" finally happened in 2018. He is even hosting the reality television game show "Big Boss" Season 2. He is also working on different social activities for his political outfit Makkal Needhi Maiam as he would join the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
