There is no denying that Park Bo Gum is among the most popular South Korean actors of his generation. As a matter of fact, the 25-year-old actor proved that he is one of the most bankable stars of today after the success of 2016 series Love in the Moonlight and the Encounter series, which also stars Song Joong Ki's wife, Song Hye Kyo.

His hard work paid off after he gained various recognition for his diverse range of roles in both television and film. Now, it seems like Park Bo Gum is going to add another color to his banner as he is, reportedly, doing a movie with Train to Busan star Gong Yoo.

Soompi claimed that Park Bo Gum and Gong Yoo are, currently, negotiating for a yet-to-be-confirmed thriller film. Korean media outfit OSEN confirmed the reports on Thursday, Feb. 7.

It is said that Park Bo Gum will portray the role of Seo Bok, who is the world's first human clone. Gong Yoo, on the other hand, is said to play the role of Ki Heon, who is a former intelligence agent that will be involved in the creation of Seo Bok.

While no other details have been confirmed as of this writing, a representative of Song Joong Ki's close pal divulged that they are, currently, reviewing the offer and, from the looks of it, there is a very huge chance that this project would push through. Should everything be ironed out, this is going to be the first project of Park Bo Gum and Gong Yoo together. Too, this is going to be the comeback of the 39-year-old actor to the big screen after starring in the 2016 South Korean zombie apocalypse action thriller titled Train to Busan.

For starters, Park Bo Gum rose to fame after he starred as a psychopathic lawyer in the 2015 shows called Hello Monster and Reply 1988. The Asian superstar was also the youngest artist to be named as Gallup Korea's Actor of the Year. And to top it all, Song Joong Ki's friend was also the first-ever actor who ranked number one in Forbes' Korea Power Celebrity.

Gong Yoo, for his part, is best known for his appearances in hit television series sich as Guardian: The Lonely and Great God (2016), Goblin (2017) and Coffee Prince (2007). The soon-to-be co-star of Park Bo Gum also starred in The Age of Shadows (2016), Silenced (2011) and Train to Busan (2016).
