Samsung Galaxy S10 Leaks and Specs: Selfie Camera and Battery Upgrades
A few days prior to its official unveiling, Samsung's Galaxy S10 lineup is still hot on the rumor mill. New leaks say the top of the line model, the S10+, gets a major camera upgrade and will sport a massive battery.
The leak, coming from GSMArena (via the Independent), says that the Galaxy S10+ will have two front-facing cameras neatly seated within a hole-punch design that allows for maximum screen size. These cameras are capable of capturing videos on 4K resolution.
The leak also reveals that the Galaxy S10+ will sport a whopping 4,100 mAh Li-Ion battery, the largest among three S10 variants. The battery is non-removable, however.
The Galaxy S10+ is packed with other noteworthy specs aside from the ones mentioned. It is powered by a Snapdragon 855 processor and Adreno 640 GPU. It has three rear cameras, and a fingerprint reader under the display.
It comes with either 128GB/6GB, 512GB/8GB or a whopping 1TB/12GB of internal storage/RAM, the latter being the most expensive. It comes in black, white, green and blue variants.
The Galaxy S10+ is the largest among three variants: the entry-level Galaxy S10e has a 5.8-inch display, the Galaxy S10 has a 6.1-inch display, and the Galaxy S10+ has a 6.4-inch display. All use Super AMOLED displays protected by Gorilla Glass 6.
The Galaxy S10, on the other hand, is almost similar to the S10+ save for a few differences. It will have three rear cameras, but only one front-facing selfie camera. It has a fingerprint reader under the display.
It comes with either 128GB/6GB or 512GB/8GB of internal storage/RAM. It will sport a 3,300 mAh non-removable battery.
The Galaxy S10 will also come in black, white, green variants. Sources from China say there will be a Cinnabar Red version, Mobile Crypto Tech reported.
The Galaxy S10e, despite being the cheapest among the three, has some pretty decent specs. Like its bigger siblings, it will come with a Snapdragon 855 processor and Adreno 640 GPU. Internal storage/RAM sizes start from 128GB/6GB as well.
It will have two rear cameras, but one front-facing selfie camera. It has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and will sport a 3,000 mAh non-removable battery.
The Galaxy S10e will come in Prism Black, Pearl White and Emerald Green variants. It is also rumored to have a Canary Yellow version.
These new flagships will be unveiled later this month on February 20. TechRadar reports they will be unveiled along with a foldable phone.
