Verizon’s Mobile 5G Network Finally Launches On April On 2 US Cities First
The mobile 5G network finally comes to reality as Verizon launches their first ever 5G in two US cities this coming April.
Verizon recently announced the launch of their most awaited mobile 5G network. The first turning on of the mobile 5G network will happen first in two US cities on April 11. Verizon's 5G Ultra Wideband mobility service will be limited to Chicago and Minneapolis for now but will soon be out widely.
A statement released through the Verizon website declares that the mobile 5G network launch will be concentrated in The Loop, specifically areas of the West Loop and the South Loop, around landmarks such as Union Station, Willis Tower, Art Institute of Chicago, Millennium Park and The Chicago Theatre. The 5G will not be available right away throughout the whole of Chicago and Minneapolis so users desiring for the 5G to be in their town and not mentioned on the list must have to wait for sometime as Verizon promised to launch 5G to 30 cities before 2019 ends.
Verizon also revealed that the first mobile 5G network can be experienced only through the first 5G enabled phone. The Motorola Moto Z3, with a 64GB of storage and a 6.01-inch display which was launched in 2018 must go along a moto mods to be attached to it. The Moto mods is a module system that will allow the Moto Z to get 5G network access. The US largest mobile network company, on the other hand, plans to offer the 5G network through Samsung's first 5G ready phones, the Samsung Galaxy S10 which is set to be released on April as well.
Verizon' mobile 5G network will cost the subscribers an additional $10 per month. Subscribers currently under the 4G LTE service for unlimited data may request for the upgrade with the additional charge per month to enjoy the 5G network service. The $10 additional monthly charge will, however, be waived for the first three months meaning current mobile 5G network users will have three months to enjoy the 5G Ultra-Wide Band mobility at their regular monthly 4G LTE network rate.
The Motorola Moto Z3 is now available in the market at a retail price starting at $480. Verizon offers their soon mobile 5G network subscriber a great deal slashing the Moto Mod price to $50 from the original retail market rate of $349.99. However, Verizon's offer is only available until March 14 just to give their loyal customers ample time before they launch their mobile 5G network in April.
