Meghan Markle And Prince Harry Not Planning To Adopt Kid From Third World Country
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are now expecting their first baby. Along with the expectation, the bets are now rolling about their child's name. But aside from their kid, there are rumors that the Suits star wants to adopt a kid to be like Prince Diana, Madonna, and Angelina Jolie.
A tabloid magazine contends Meghan Markle wants to become the first royal to adopt a kid from an "impoverished" or "third world" country. Its alleged source claims the 37-year-old retired actress is desperate to be called as the modern version of Princess Diana, who is known for helping poor and sick children.
Meghan Markle also allegedly wants to be like Madonna and Angelina Jolie, who adopted kids from Africa and Asia to give them a great life. However, the tipster continues to say that her plan may "backfire" and "alienate senior royals" because of her Hollywood lifestyle.
Gossip Cop debunks the claim and says it is not an original story. There is also another tabloid that reported the same scenario from a year ago. Allegedly, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry wanted to adopt "multiracial children" just like what Angelina Jolie did. Although the Kensington Palace doesn't give an official comment about the issue, it says the alleged plan to adopt a kid is only a speculation.
Meanwhile, the bets are now open on the name of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's baby. Although the kid's gender is yet to be known, there are now speculations of its possible monicker. Some people also wonder what surname the kid will use.
According to Yahoo, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry may use their titles as the Duchess and Duke of Sussex as their kid's surname. So, the baby will be called Mister or Miss Sussex. It is the same thing Kate Middleton, and Prince William did.
Kate Middleton and Prince William, who are the Duchess and Duke of Cambridge, also use their royal title of Cambridge as their children's surname. Hence, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis are called Cambridge.
Prince Charles and Princess Dianna followed the same thing when they named Prince Harry and Prince William. The two Princes used Wales as their surname before they became dukes after marriage.
In the Royal family, all of Queen Elizabeth and the Duke of Edinburgh's male-line descendants follow the combination of their last names, Mountbatten-Windsor. However, those with royal titles and styles use their titles instead. Hence, whatever the gender of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's baby is, it will carry its parents' title.
