'Fantastic Beasts' 3 Release Date, Spoilers: Film Might Feature Brazil During The 1930s
It's been months already since Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald dropped in cinemas. And upon watching the sequel, it created a lot of commotion to both Harry Potter and Newt's fans. While many of these fans thought of the movie as a great prequel plot to the Harry Potter series, some people, however, are not satisfied as to how it went.
The following reactions of the fans are possibly the reason why it may take time before the third installment drops on the theaters. Although it is already quite known to premiere on November 2020, recent reports revealed otherwise.
In an interview with Dan Folger, the actor who played Jacob Kowalski, he mentioned that Fantastic Beasts 3 has a much bigger scope than the first two movies combined. And filming and shooting the movie will take time. Not to mention, there were also reports that J.K. Rowling has been spending more time in rewriting the scripts since the last movie did not have the full support of the fans. So, there's that.
Even so, it is believed that Fantastic Beasts 3 will make it to the theaters by 2021. As for the full title of the film, no further revelations have been given to the public. The same is true for its plot and setting. But, Otakukart has a few things in mind about the next sequel's setting.
According to the outlet, the third installment of the film might feature Brazil. And this idea was cued by J.K. Rowling herself, Otakukart said. While the writer did not explicitly reveal this matter, her Twitter responses to the fans are somewhat intriguing.
She mentioned that the image she posted is a picture of "Rio Da Janeiro in the 1930s." And later on, she further explained that she should already know now the proper spelling of "Rio De Janeiro" considering that she has been spending a lot of time writing it in the past few months. Hence, this gave the fans the idea that Fantastic Beasts 3 might now feature Brazil in the 1930s.
However, if this is going to be the case, then it's a pretty huge jump in time, as per Digital Spy. As you may know, the first two installments featured New York in 1926 and Paris in 1927, respectively. And we already know that the five-part series will end in 1945 when Dumbledore defeats Grindelwald in a duel battle. So, if the third installment will be in 1930, then things are already moving fast forward.
But in any case, these are only conclusions obtained from hints and clues. So, unless the actors, production team, and the writer reveal the true details of Fantastic Beasts 3, fans will be left with nothing to do but to guess from hints and clues.
