A listing error has revealed the release date and specs of the upcoming Huawei P30 Pro smartphone. Read on for more details.

According to the observant guys at Italian website, Amazon Italia made a mistake and accidentally listed the Huawei P30 Pro smartphone for sale. The listing showed up way ahead of the March 26 event where Huawei is expected to announce their new line of devices. The listing has already been taken down.

Before Amazon could take it down, however, HDBlog has already captured screenshots and shared it for the world to see, Phone Arena reported. It is scheduled for orders starting March 27th, followed by a release on April 5th. Below are some important details about the device.

Processor and Memory

The Huawei P30 Pro will be powered by a Kirin 980 processor. This is the same chip that powers the Mate 20 Pro, believed to be the best smartphone available in the market as of the moment. The processor is backed by 8GB RAM and 128 GB of storage space. Storage is expandable via the use of a memory card.

The P30 Pro will feature some of the most powerful phone cameras to date. At the back is a quad-camera setup featuring a 40MP "super sensor" primary camera, a 20MP ultra-wide lens, an 8MP telephoto lens, and a Time of Flight sensor. The phone will feature 10x superzoom.

The P30 also features a 32MP front-facing camera perfect for selfies and group pictures.

Other details

The Huawei P30 Pro will come with Android 9 Pie underneath Huawei's own EMUI 9.1. It will feature a large 4,200 mAh battery and will come with a high current charger for fast charging convenience.

The P30 Pro will also come with a USB-C headset and a micro USB to type-C adapter, both included in the box. As for colorways, none is confirmed except the Amber Sunrise colorway shown in the deleted listing.

While it's not specifically mentioned in the listing, Phone Arena believes that the P30 Pro might feature a 6.-5 inch OLED display panel with a 1080 x 2340 resolution. They also expect the P30 Pro to have an IP68 water rating.

Phone Arena also believes that the P30 will feature most of the P30 Pro's specs, but have a smaller display, RAM, battery, and fewer rear cameras.

The listing has pegged the Huawei P30 Pro's selling price at 1028.19 EUR, including VAT. This converts to about $1,174.78 USD as of writing time.
