Prince William and Kate Middleton have been surrounded by a lot of rumors from divorce to cheating allegations. The recent news from the rumor mill is that the Duke of Cambridge cheated his wife with her good friend Rose Hanbury.
There is a fallout between Kate Middleton and Rose Hanbury, who is married to British aristocrat David Rocksavage the 7th Marquess of Cholmondeley. Allegedly, the Duchess of Cambridge sees Hanbury as a "rural rival," so she wants her "phased-out" from their place.
"It is well known that Kate and Rose have had a terrible falling out," an insider told The Sun, via InStyle Australia. "They used to be close, but that is not the case anymore."
As the alleged rift between the two women seems bad, Prince William reportedly steps in to "broker peace." The Royal Knight of the Garter reportedly wants to play as a peacemaker to Kate Middleton and Rose Hanbury to retain their friendship.
Despite their closeness and having a lot of mutual friends, Kate Middleton allegedly remains firm that she doesn't want to see Rose Hanbury anymore. She even wants Prince William to phase them out, although they almost have the same social status.
As things are getting more serious, the Royal commentator Richard Kay revealed in his article on the Daily Mail that the two parties are now considering to take legal action over the claims. The rift even gives birth to the rumor that that fallout started when Prince William and Rose Hanbury had an affair.
"Yes. It is an affair. I haven't read the piece, but I know about the affair," The Time food writer Giles Coren said in a tweet, which was immediately deleted after. "Everyone knows about the affair, darling. Even us Jews. (Although admittedly I'm quite a posh Jew - if such a thing exists."
Kensington Palace and the Cholmondeley are both mums about the issue. There is also a report that the alleged rift between Kate Middleton and Rose Hanbury is not true and only a rumor to damage the reputation of Prince William's wife.
