Nvidia Introduces Affordable, ‘Apex Legends,’ ‘Fortnite,’ ‘PUGB,’ Capable Graphic Cards
Going for affordability does not necessarily mean sacrificing the efficiency, which is what NVIDIA proves as they release their cheapest graphics cards that brings the gaming experience of up to two times faster, the GeForce GTX 1660 Ti along with the GTX 1650 Max Q GPU.
On Tuesday Nvidia launched their most affordable graphics cards ever, the GeForce GTX 1660 Ti and the GTX 1650 Max Q. Although both will come without the ray tracing these graphics cards will resemble the Turing microarchitecture from the 20-series.
One important feature for Nvidia's affordable graphics cards is the ability to handle the 100 frames per second at a 1080p resolution of "Apex Legend," "Fortnite," and "PUGB." This means that GTX 1660 Ti comes almost two times faster than the last updated GPU.
GTX 1650 Max Q GPU laptop users can expect a 60 fps refresh rates at 1080p with Shadow of the Tomb Raider". While GTX 1660-class GPUs are in for 20 percent boost on "Fallout 4," and 50 percent boost on "Battlefield V," along with other new titles.
The GTX 1660 Ti outperforms the speed of its predecessors. Nvidia's most affordable GPU comes four times faster than GTX 960M, Nvidia's former release. It almost doubles the speed of GTX 1060, its predecessor.
Affordability and speed are not the only aspects that Nvidia's most affordable GPU has in store. GTX 1650 Max Q comes fit for thinner and lighter laptops. Some Max Q models even come lighter enough to break the record of the lightest four-pound device.
GTX 1660 Ti laptops also have their boast when it comes to portability. Some 1660 Ti models weigh as low as five pounds or less.
Aside from games, Nvidia's most affordable graphics cards give a satisfying boost to other applications as well. Photoshop filters can be experienced to upgrade by 50 percent while the Adobe Premiere Pro CC effects enhance up to five times than usual with GTX 1660 Ti and 1650 Max Q.
When it comes to power consumption, GTX 1660 Ti and 1650 Max Q both come with adoptive shading and the like, the software tricks for hardware performance which makes the graphics card usage lower than usual. Both the Nvidia's most affordable GPUs use the Max Q technology which reduces the power consumption by up to 50 percent.
The desktop version of the GTX 1650 Max Q could cost $150. The mobile version price, on the other hand, could start at $800 available from laptop makers and will be available from laptop makers by April 23.
