Fresh Google Pixel 3a Leak Revealed
Google may very well launch the Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL on May 7 as one of the highlights of their I/O conference. This fact - plus a bevy of rumors that surround the fourth iteration of the Pixel - has been a persistent subject that even the Search Engine giant is contributing some morsels to hype the Smartphone.
The Pixel lineage tags Google's reputation of being one of the best digital companies in the world. This is exactly why the Pixels are constantly monitored; leakers add spice to speculations considering that they are on the forefront of predictions. With I/O coming up in less than a month, a new batch of renders was recently discovered by a number of sources.
CNet posted that tipster Evan Blass tweeted an image of what he described to be the Google Pixel 3a. The same render was also found on Slashleaks that's paired with a title, "Google Pixel 3a Press Render Leaks." This however is like running to a brick wall. There was no follow-up from @evleaks nor the website, but the former's tweet prompted a bunch of comments from Blass' followers.

Engadget, who also posted about the news, depicts the supposed Google Pixel 3a as a "notch-free" Smartphone with a single camera setup. The design, according to them, is "fairly basic" since it heavily favors an old school flavor. Although there is a fingerprint sensor below the camera, the Google Pixel 3a is a step back from the likes of other mid-tier devices with triple camera setup and thin bezels.
In addition, the website also linked a previous leak coming from Google that detailed some of the Google Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL's specifications. It said the "Bonito", or the Pixel 3a will flaunt a 2,160x1,080 display, while the Pixel 3a XL or "Sargo" should come in at 2,220x1,080. The Pixel 3a will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 chip while the bigger Pixel 3a XL will be shipped with a Snapdragon 710 processor.
Both the Google Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL will incorporate 4GB RAM and the company's Pixel Visual Core to give the new line an added punch in photography. CNet also has it that the Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL will include "some of the same features" of the original Pixel 3, but they will cost less. The Pixel 3 sells for $799, while the larger Pixel 3 XL comes in at $899. Considering the design and setup of the Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL, Google should give the two an affordable sticker price.
