'Game Of Thrones' Season 8: HBO Releases New Set Photos; Who Will Sit On Iron Throne?
The end is about to come in Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 6. HBO has released a couple of the series finale's set photos, and it gives nothing but the rubble look of King's Landing after Daenerys' (Emilia Clarke) rampage. For the last time, the network maintains the show's secrecy, but a lot of fans are still wondering who will sit on the Iron Throne.
HBO only released two Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 6 set photos. The snaps feature the same settings that of the final episode's trailer.
The first image shows Daenerys standing in front of her army in the ruins of King's Landing, via IGN. The other one reveals Tyrion's (Peter Dinklage) bewildered image as he carefully inspects the aftermath of her Queen's attack.
Tyrion seems to doubt his decision to stay on Daenerys' side and be her ally. After he begged the Mother of Dragons not to risk the innocent people's lives that fell on deaf ears, he might do something in Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 6 to stop Daenerys from her madness.
Aside from Tyrion, Jon Snow (Kit Harington) also seems uncertain of her loyalty to Daenerys after he witnessed what she did. The Warden of the North may confront Daenerys of what she has become that may push him to accept his destiny as the rightful heir of the Iron Throne.
So, how will things end and who will sit on the Iron Throne in Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 6? According to NME, Daenerys is still determined to be the Queen of Seven Kingdoms. She seems unbeatable today with Drogon by her side, along with her remaining Unsullied and Dothraki armies.
As everyone saw what she could do to take the Iron Throne, would anyone brave to face Daenerys and stop her from taking the seat? It looks like no one could stop the Mother of Dragons, and she would gladly take anyone down who would come her way.
The safest and cleanest option to take the Iron Throne is Jon. Now that Cersei (Lena Headey) is gone and Daenerys turns to be a Mad Queen, the rightful heir seems to be the rightful ruler. Although Jon keeps on repeating he doesn't want to be a King, Tyrion once said the best ruler might be the one who doesn't want to rule.
In a couple of days, fans are about to witness the showdown of Daenerys, Jon, Tyrion, and the rest of the remaining living characters of the show. As the battle for the throne is not yet over, fans should wait and see who among them should sit on the Iron Throne. Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 6 will be out on Sunday, May 19, at 9 p.m. on HBO.
