Breaking News: Song Joong Ki, Song Hye Kyo Devoice Rumors Come Ture, Song-Song Couple Ending Their Marriage

Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo are, undeniably, two of the most followed South Korean stars today. Before tying the knot on October 31, 2017, the two Hallyu artists appeared as the lead stars of the 2016 hit drama series titled Descendants of the Sun. Now that Joong Ki and Hye Kyo are, already, partners in real-life, more and more fans are following their love story.

Though neither of them has the closed doors on the possibility of having another project together, Song Joong Ki, previously, shared that it is very unlikely to be reunited with Song Hye Kyo in a new series. The 33-year-old Hallyu superstar stated that he feels pressured whenever he's doing a scene with his wife. Despite this, Joong Ki said that Hye Kyo is far better than he could ever be at acting.

"She's a senior who's at a height that I can never look beyond," Song Joong Ki said about Song Hye Kyo. "Even still, she always works hard. I realized, 'She's not called Song Hye Kyo for nothing,'" the actor added. Hye Kyo, for her part, once called Joong Ki as the "best partner" she's ever worked with.

It has been, approximately, two years since Song Joong Ki showed off his acting prowess on small screens. Fortunately for fans, the husband of Song Hye Kyo will return to television very soon via tvN's new series titled Arthdal Chronicles. The show is expected to premiere on June 1.

There, Song Joong Ki would play the role of Eun Seom, who will face an identity crisis after being tagged as a "monster's son" in Arthdal Chronicles. Song Hye Kyo's husband will reunite with Kim Ji Won, who also starred in Descendants of the Sun. The actress will portray the character of Tanya, who is the tribe leader's daughter. Other personalities expected to appear on the forthcoming new show include Choo Ja Hyun, Jo Sung Ha, Kim Ok Bin, and Jang Dong Gun among others.

Meanwhile, Song Hye Kyo, recently, showed her support for Park Hyung Sik in Juror 8, which will be available in Korean theaters starting May 15. The wife of Song Joong Ki posted the movie's poster on her official Instagram account. The Encounter star edited the photo and wrote the film's title and release date. Other stars like Park Seo Joon, Im Siwan, Han Ji Min, and Choi Woo Shik also shared the poster.

A few weeks ago, Hye Kyo revealed that she would be working with Chinese actors and filmmakers in her upcoming new projects. The Full House actress even signed up with Jet Tone Films, which is director Wong Kar Wai's production company. No other details about her forthcoming movie have been announced as of press time.
