'Hawaii Five-0' Season 10 Return Uncertain For Steve And Jerry
WARNING: This article contains spoilers for Hawaii Five-0 season 9 that may influence your enjoyment in discovering the plotlines. Read at your own risk.
Hawaii Five-0 season 9 had an explosive finale which aired on Friday, May 17, at 10 p.m. on CBS. Steve (played by Alex O'Loughlin) and Jerry (played by Jorge Garcia) were on the scene when a bullet went off but whoever survived this incident will still be unveiled during the premiere of Hawaii Five-0 season 10.
But Hawaii Five-0 season 10 won't begin airing until the third week of September 2019. Until then, fans of the series will have all summer long to figure out who was the actual victim of the gunshot that Azra (played by Yasmine Dar) fired at the Five-0 headquarters.
According to Carter Matt, Hawaii Five-0 wants fans to worry about the fate of Steve to keep the interest in the series and the character going. It is quite obvious, however, that Azra targeted the police officer.
However, Jorge also appeared to have stepped right in front of Steve to cover him. He may have done this to save Steve's life while risking his.
But it could also be possible that no one will die when Hawaii Five-0 season 10 returns. The gunshot may not have hurt anyone, and everyone's health and safety are still intact in the upcoming installment.
Meanwhile, the cliffhanger ending has once again revived talks about O'Loughlin's contract with CBS. It seems that fans wonder every year if the actor is leaving Hawaii Five-0 for good.
Though the actor admitted he sometimes feel tired about working on this popular action series after more than 200 episodes, he has since had a change of heart about staying on. Just before Hawaii Five-0 season 9 began, O'Loughlin said that he has a different mindset now with regards his contract renegotiations with CBS. As much as possible, he's reasonable since a lot of people depend on this show for their livelihood.
"It's a great show and a lot of people love it, but more importantly, we keep so many people employed in Hawaii who might otherwise be stacking boxes at a grocery mart," the actor said in his interview with TV Line. "It's hard to get work out here and this feeds a lot of families, so it's a really good thing. It's important."
CBS announced the renewal of Hawaii Five-0 season 10 just this May. Aside from O'Loughlin and Garcia, the show also stars Scott Caan, Meaghan Rath, Ian Anthony Dale, Beulah Koale, Chi McBride, Dennis Chun, Taylor Wily and Kimee Balmilero.
