Apple gadget users out there are excited about the iOS 13 and its many shiny new featuresSystem-wide dark modenew Messages options, and so much more. The new OS is due to arrive sometime this fall. You don't need to wait until then, however, if you want to test drive one of our favorite iOS 13 features - its wallpapers.

Each time Apple announces a brand new OS, it always comes along with a slew of wallpapers which is more than enough to create an illusion of 'brand new.' iOS 13 and iPadOS 13 are no different at all and the initial beta comes with a handful of new wallpapers.

Right now, you can actually go ahead and download those wallpapers for any iPhone and iPad out there without actually downloading iOS 13. In fact, you can use these wallpapers with any device you may have, as long as it doesn't have a 4K display. Otherwise, you'll see some imperfections here and there.

While you can simply download the iOS 13 wallpapers, you won't be getting the fully dynamic experience. You don't get to experience the new iOS 13 features either. To do that, you'll need to download the iOS 13 developer beta, released by Apple after WWDC 2019.

The beta is still in an early stage, meaning it's unstable and very buggy. Even Apple advised all non-developers to wait until July for the release of the first iOS 13 public beta. But if you're up for the challenge, you can be among the first to test-drive iOS 13's exciting and awesome features.

iOS 13 comes with four new wallpaper options, each with a tweaked variant for dark and light appearance themes. The wallpapers are four different color twists on the close-up image of 'lava lamp' bubbles.

The available colors are black and white, green and white, blue and white, and orange and white. In light mode, these wallpapers have white backdrops. These special stock wallpapers have black background variants that are used instead if you are running in dark mode.

You can get all of these and a whole lot more in the fall when the final version of iOS 13 is released. For now though, delight in these creative wallpapers to and give your device a little makeover.
