They may have a very tumultuous relationship, from reported battering and police reports, but Chris Brown and Rihanna were considered a match made in pop music heaven. Rihanna and Brown dated from 2008 to 2009 before splitting after the With You crooner was arrested for physically assaulting his then-girlfriend, leaving her with a bruised face and injuries that required hospitalization.

But despite what has transpired between the two award-winning artists, they had become friends over the years and was able to realize what went wrong in their relationship.

Separate interviews from both Rihanna and Chris Brown showed how they explained the situation and even defended each other when the Umbrella songstress slammed Snapchat in May 2018 when the app made light of the domestic violence situation between her and Brown when they posted pics of the exes asking users if they'd rather "slap Rihanna" or "punch Chris Brown."

Now, Chris Brown reportedly has "mixed emotions" when it comes to Rihanna's current relationship with Hassan Jameel. Rihanna has been dating the business magnate for quite a long time now and is currently very happy now that is based closely with him in London.

Reports show that Rihanna is currently "happy in love" with Hassan Jameel and although he also feels the same way with the Diamonds singer, he has some regrets on why their past relationship failed. Looking back on their on-and-off relationship, Chris Brown can't help but wonder what he would have done to save it.

Sources claim that Chris Brown has been thinking about what could've been if they never ended things, especially the way that they did. However, the Undecided crooner already knows they have both moved on in their ways already.

Rihanna already revealed while chatting with Ocean's 8 co-stars Sarah Paulson for Interview magazine that she "loves him" and that she wants to be a mother one day, but the Only Girl songstress did not mention her current boyfriend as she remains discreet and private on her personal life.

This clearly shows how matured and grown the Loyal crooner has become after his relationship with the Work hitmaker, that is why, after all these years, the two "continue to be in frequent contact with each other."

Chris Brown would even leave a flirty, flushed cheeks emoji on a topless Instagram picture of his former girlfriend as they are extremely supportive of each other's projects.
