This year's San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) is coming, and there are a lot of surprises awaiting for Game of Thrones fans. Aside from original cast members' appearance at the convention, Mega Construx is about to introduce new construction sets.

For the first time, Mega Construx creates constructions sets based on the most iconic scenes of Game of Thrones. There will be two sets of toys that will be available for pre-sale at SDCC. The toy company also plans to expand its collection in 2020 and beyond.

The first one is composed of 735 pieces and features a 2.5-inch Daenerys figure and a 20-inch buildable Drogon that has a three-foot wingspan. The second one consists 176 parts, based on Game of Thrones Season 7 penultimate episode, titled "Beyond the Wall," where Jon Snow faced the Night King and his Army of the Dead. It has three 2.5-inch micro figures of Jon, the Night King, and a wight.

"We are thrilled to announce our partnership with HBO to launch the Game of Thrones Construction Sets, a new line that allows fans, older collectors and experienced builders to experience the world of Game of Thrones like never before," senior vice president and global Mega Brand general manager Bisma Ansari told The Hollywood Reporter. "We've created sets that bring the characters and jaw-dropping locations to life with details that could only be possible through Mega Construx."

Along with Mega Construx is the appearance of Game of Thrones cast members at SDCC. Business Times recently reported event-goers would once again see Jacob Anderson (Grey Worm), John Bradley (Samwell Tarly), and Nathalie Emmanuel (Missandei of Naath) leading the panel at Hall H.

They will be joined by Liam Cunningham (Davos Seaworth) Iain Glen (Ser Jorah Mormont), Conleth Hill (Varys), Maisie Williams (Arya Stark), Isaac Hempstead Wright (Bran Stark), and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime Lannister). Showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss will also make an appearance with the famed director and executive producer Miguel Sapochnik.

Game of Thrones stars didn't make it at the 2018 SDCC due to the filming of its eighth and final season. However, HBO now confirmed its cast members' appearance through a post on Twitter.

For the last time, fans are about to see the Game of Thrones stars together for the last hurrah on Friday, July 19, at 5:30 p.m. Hall H. The 2019 SDCC will take place from July 18 to 21.
