What It's Like To Visit Iceland?
Traveling can give you the solitude and peace that you can never find in any other things in this world. The happiness you will feel in every country you'll visit, the culture you'll encounter, the art you'll love, and delicacies you'll eat is superb you will surely keep it inside your heart forever.
Nuseir Yassin, a blogger who is fond of sharing his travel experiences in a 1-minute video, claims Iceland as one of the best places that gave him an amazing experience. According to him, the best thing about the country is its uniqueness. Its landscapes, people, culture, language, and technology seem out-of-this-earth, Yassin even considered it as a new planet, as posted on his Facebook video Nas Daily.
IT HAS NATURAL SOURCES OF HOT WATER.
If you decide to live in Iceland, you will never have to buy your heater anymore. The country has its natural sources for hot water, which enables the locals to have warm water directly pouring out of their very own faucet. Sometimes the water would have a strong smell of sulfur due to its geothermal origins.
Because of these resources, they are also able to generate their electricity, which cost lesser since it's from a renewable source. By maximizing this resource instead of using things such as fossil fuel for their electricity, Iceland is preserving their environment big time.
IT HAS GLACIERS THAT ARE OVER HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF YEARS OLD.
Iceland comprises about 10% of ice or glaciers that have been frozen for more than hundreds of thousands of years, according to Guide to Iceland. These glaciers are made up of cleanest water since it has been frozen in time. During the warmer seasons, these mountains of ice start to melt, giving the locals the purest, cleanest, and coldest water straight from their sink, which they could drink. Some of Iceland's glaciers are Vatnajökull, Mýrdalsjökull, Langjökull, Eyjafjallajökull, and Breiðamerkurjökull.
ONE OF THE STRONGEST PEOPLE ON EARTH IS LIVING IN ITS TERRITORY.
People who are living in Iceland are known as Vikings. This race is considered the strongest people on earth by being able to live and adapt in such a different and difficult environment. They have also preserved their culture, specifically their language, which until now has remained untouched.
In his video, Yassin shared his desire for people to see how he sees Iceland and be able to inspire them to make this world beautiful, just like the European country. His wish is for every country to "be as developed, as energy-efficient, as beautiful, and as peaceful as Planet Iceland."
