Carmelo Anthony is currently on a tough road as he is still looking for a team where he could close out his career in the NBA. Many believe that the 10 times All-Star player has already played his final game in the league and some others think he will never find a team again. But, amidst all these doubts, pessimism, and struggles, Melo could still land on a team and have his final NBA season.

Biran Scalarbine thinks that the Miami Heat could sign Carmelo Anthony. There are also reports that the former scoring champion could be reunited with the Denver Nuggets and have the team help him close his NBA career. All these are possibilities being currently entertained by several sports analysts since Melo has not yet gotten any deals from any teams.

Brian Scalabrine, Boston Celtics TV analyst and former NBA small forward thinks that the Miami heat could make use of Carmelo Anthony. The team has four spots on its roster that's still available, and according to Scalarbine the Heat has always been the team that believes that it can bring out the best of a player because of its team culture.

Last Summer, Carmelo Anthony, and the Miami Heat were linked after the Oklahoma City Thunder traded Melo to the Atlanta Hawks and was late waived by the Hawks. Melo had a meeting with Miami Heat in Las Vegas, but he ended up inking a deal with the Houston Rockets and to play with James Harden and Chris Paul.

Carmelo Anthony played 10 games with the Rockets until November 2018 and then the team exiled him. The All-star NBA player averaged 5.4 rebounds shooting at 40.5 percent from the field and 13.4 points. Melo could certainly work with the Heat under a minimum deal, and Erik Spoelstra might be able to transform him into a very effective player once again. He is also a close friend of Miami Heat's Jimmy Butler.

Another report points out that Carmelo Anthony could be a significant player for the Denver Nuggets. Recently, the team brought in Isaiah Thomas hoping that he could be able to regain his form. The Nuggets could also do the same to Carmelo Anthony. As pointed out by an NBA star, a farewell tour with the Denver Nuggets could bring things in full circle for Melo.

Carmelo Anthony played almost eight seasons in Denver Nuggets and helped lead the team to the Western Conference Finals. Although Melo forced his way to New York Knicks during the 2011 season of the NBA, things were never the same for him.
