It has been over three months now since Hawaii Five-0 Season 9 ended. And with its huge cliffhanger, the fans can no longer wait to know what happens next. But thankfully, CBS has renewed the show for a new season even before its imminent end.

On May 9, CBS announced its renewal decision toward the show. Although it is not surprising at all considering the impressive performance of the series material on the network, this still made the fans happy and excited.

According to TV Line, the network has renewed most of its shows including Hawaii Five-0. But while there is a slight decline in terms of its viewership records, the action police series has remained to be one of CBS’ top-performing series materials. And with its ten million viewers per episode on an average note, this is truly an impressive figure for any series that has been on air for almost a decade now.

In terms of its cast members, Deadline reports that the new season will still be headed by Alex O’Loughlin and Scott Caan who play the roles of Steve McGarrett and Danno Williams, respectively. Other cast members that are expected to return and reprise their roles include Anthony Dale, Beulah Koale, Jorge Garcia, Meaghan Rath, Taylor Wily, Dennis Chun, Chi McBride, and Kimee Balmilero.

As any fan knows it, there were reports previously claiming that Alex O’Loughlin would leave the show after the ninth or tenth season. And as per these claims, the main star has decided to exit due to personal reasons. While this may seem all true, there were no confirmations given about the matter.

The same is actually true about the final season rumors. According to Promipool, there were rumors recently claiming that the show will be sold after the tenth season since this has become the common notion for most police and drama series today. However, it seems that it will not be the case for Hawaii Five-0

Aside from these things, there no other information given about the new and upcoming season. For all the fans know, the tenth season will pick up where it last left off. And it is with McGarrett seemingly being shot at the finale of the previous season.

With this kind of finale, many fans have become so much eager to learn if McGarrett will truly leave the show. But since reports have already claimed that he is still leading the new season, then it is possible that he survived the incident or someone put his or her life at risk to save him.

Hawaii Five-0 Season 10 is set to premiere on September 27, on CBS.
