It's no secret that Queen Elsa of Arendelle is the most powerful character in Frozen 2. However, some fans find it unusual that her sister Princess Anna does not have similar abilities. Is it possible that Anna also has her brand of magical gifts? The upcoming sequel could finally reveal why the younger sister is not as gifted as Elsa.

In the first film, it was immediately established that Elsa could control ice and snow. It's an ability that delights her little sister, so they use it to play games. Unfortunately, Elsa accidentally injures Anna although she is healed by Grand Pabbie, the Troll King. To help Elsa control her powers, Pabbie erased Anna's memories of her sister's abilities.

It's already clear that Elsa is the only one who has powers, but why doesn't Anna have the same gift? There is a huge possibility that the truth will be revealed in Frozen 2, and it might have something to do with Anna's healing from the first film.

There are speculations that Anna had powers when she was younger. However, her abilities have not yet surfaced by the time that she and Elsa played the game where she was injured. Unfortunately, Grand Pabbie may have removed Anna's powers when he healed her in the original movie. Nevertheless, the sisters' quest to save Arendelle could bring her memories and gifts back in Frozen 2.

Interestingly, the truth about the sisters' powers could be revealed to be connected to their father. One theory suggests that the King of Arendelle had a connection with some magical creatures before he took the throne. If this is true, there is a huge possibility that both of his daughters were born with magical abilities, although Elsa was the only one whose powers were active. Hopefully, everything will be explained in the sequel.

The second Frozen movie will bring back Kristen Bell as Anna, Idina Menzel as Elsa, Josh Gad as Olaf, and Jonathan Groff as Kristoff. Santino Fontana, who provided the voice of Prince Hans of the Southern Isles, is also expected to return in the sequel. They will be joined by new cast members This is Us star Sterling K. Brown as well as Westworld actress Evan Rachel Wood.

Will Anna be revealed to have her own magical powers? Can the sisters save Arendelle? Find out when Frozen 2 hits theaters on November 22.
