A new report claims that Romelu Lukaku is flooding Alexis Sanchez's phone with messages convincing him to join Inter Milan this summer.

Earlier this month, the striker left Manchester United for Inter and wants his former team-mate to follow him to Italy. Though Sanchez is reportedly about to sign to Inter at a loan, Lukaku feels that Sanchez needs more encouragement to leave United. He has been sending the Chilean text messages daily since his transfer to Milan, urging him to make a move.

Lukaku has been reportedly telling Sanchez that playing for Inter is a better choice and that Milan is nicer than Manchester. The report also states that Sanchez has been convinced and has already requested for the No. 7 shirt.

At United, the forward receives £560,000 a week. When he moves on to Inter, the English club will reportedly continue to pay part of his earnings.

Details of the deal have now emerged, as  Fabrizio Romano confirmed it will be an initial season-long loan deal with an option to buy for €15m in June 2020. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has apparently talked to Sanchez about his desire to leave United after falling down the pecking order.

Sanchez is scheduled to undergo a medical exam this week, with Inter announcing him as an official player soon, following the arrival of Diego Godin and Lukaku. If this happens, Sanchez will be coached by Antonio Conte, who has been very familiar with the Premier League.

Same with Lukaku, Sanchez has had a hard time living up to expectations at United after the club spent a whole lot of money to sign him from Arsenal. Inconsistency and injuries have plagued the Chilean player at Old Trafford, although Solskjaer has said before that he still has a future with the club.

"Alexis is such a professional and he comes in working every single day really hard and he wants to be a part of this," Solskjaer said in a recent interview. "There are these stories he's been put in the reserves - of course he hasn't, he's part of our squad and he is a really good player. He has had three weeks now, so he's a few weeks behind the rest but close to being part of it."

With just United's seal of approval left to have a total agreement, it is likely the deal should go ahead. Confirmation about the deal should be announced soon.
