Are you suffering from extreme pimples, oily face, and dead skin cells, which makes you feel so alone and helpless? Don't worry about it. You're not alone.

According to the American Academy of Dermatologist, about 50 million American adults are suffering from acne, and an estimate of about 85% of people around the world are suffering and are about to suffer from it. Though this skin condition usually happens during a person's puberty, a large number of young adults are still suffering from it. Acne happens because of the blockage of pores due to bacteria, excessive oil, and dead skin.

Usually, to treat acne, patients are given conventional acne treatments such as retinoid-like and retinoid drugs, which usually comes in creams, lotions, and gels. Another medication to treat this skin problem is antibiotics, which helps in killing skin bacteria and healing wounds faster. Other medications include dapsone, salicylic acid, and azelaic acid.

Though these conventional acne treatments can sometimes be very effective, there are still undesirable side effects to the skin that wouldn't make it look better. These effects include irritation, dryness, and redness. Since treating acne using the conventional manner could be risky to the skin, some people decide to look for other natural alternatives hoping it could pose lesser to no negative side effect.

Apple cider vinegar is a kind of vinegar made from fermented and unfiltered apple juice. So, what does this vinegar has to do with combatting different types of viruses and bacteria that cause acne to breakout?

One of the things that are in apple cider vinegar is the organic acids that can help eliminate and control P.acnes. It also has succinic acid, which is effective in suppressing irritation and inflammation caused by the skin condition. This vinegar also can minimize scarring as it also has lactic acid. Furthermore, with all the natural minerals and vitamins in it, apple cider also can control and dry up excess oil, which is the main culprit why acne breakouts happen.

Aside from apple cider vinegar, there are still several natural ways to treat this skin problem, as shown by an online health blog Healthline. Studies show that people who are suffering from acne are deficient from zinc. Given this reason, taking more food with zinc can surely help manage this skin problem.
