SEAL Team season 3 will be back for more action this fall on CBS. Jason Hayes (played by David Boreanz) and the rest of the Bravo Team will be tracking down an organization in Serbia which could be linked to several bombings in America's military facilities.

Photos released by CBS for SEAL Team season 3 show the same kind of action that viewers more or less expect from the series. But there will be a few changes to this season starting with the new faces who will be joining the cast.

Supernatural actress Emily Swallow comes aboard SEAL Team season 3 as Dr. Natalie Pierce, a research psychologist. Her character will be closely working with the Bravo Team to evaluate and determine their operational longevity

Rudy Dobrev from Bloodline and Jamie McShane from The Passage are also going to be part of SEAL Team season 3. They will have recurring roles as Filip and Captain Lindell, respectively.

Filip is a field agent for Serbia's version of the CIA. He's trying to prevent a war between his country and the U.S. thus he will be cooperating with the Bravo Team.

Captain Lindell, on the other hand, belongs to a new generation of soldiers and will work with the operatives from Tier One. This group is expected to cross paths and have friction with Bravo in SEAL Team season 3.

Though the production has been quiet for SEAL Team season 3, it's expected that the new episodes will be more character-centered. Given how the last season ended, the series will still largely focus on post-traumatic stress orders as well as brain injuries that have affected the Bravo Team.

Meanwhile, the character of SEAL Team old-timer Jessica Pare (as Mandy) is shifting her story arc in the third season. Following Mandy's demotion in the last season finale, Pare's character will now be joining the team on the streets.

"[She's been] retasked as an analyst and interrogator who services all of DEVGRU (the Naval Special Warfare Development Group)," showrunner John Glenn said. "Instead of walking the halls of power in D.C., Season 3 opens up a new world for Mandy - one where she's out in the field, in the middle of the action, even interrogating sources on target with Bravo."

SEAL Team season 3 will premiere on Wednesday, Oct. 2, at 9:00 p.m. on CBS.
