'How To Get Away With Murder' Season 6 Premiere Date, Spoilers: Who Among Connor, Laurel Is Possibly Inside That Casket?
How to Get Away with Murder Season 6 is now taking shape to feature the most intense ending. As it is now opening the door to its last and final season, ABC has dropped its new trailer. It teases a major death is coming, leading to questions about the mysterious individual inside the gleaming casket.
The new trailer perfectly featured the highlights of the show's past five seasons. From the murder of Annalise's (Viola Davis) husband, Sam (Tom Verica), to the deaths of Lila (Megan West) and Rebecca (Katie Findlay) to Wes (Alfred Enoch) shooting Annalise and the birth of Laurel's (Karla Souza) son, it looks like one of these events would be linked back to the group. To recall, the case of Sam's death was brought to life again because of the FBI's investigation to Annalise.
However, at the end of it all, Annalise could be seen telling her students to bury "all of the lies, fear, guilt, and shame" that followed them throughout the law school. But by the looks of it, their feelings and emotions would not be the only thing that would get buried. The promo teased there would be a major death coming when it featured a gleaming casket.
So, who will die in How to Get Away with Murder Season 6? According to TV Guide, it could be Laurel (Karla Souza) or Connor (Jack Falahee). The trailer showed Connor repeatedly beating something or someone that might be enough for fans to worry about his future.
Connor just got married to Oliver (Conrad Ricamora). After everything that they have been through, will Oliver lose Connor in the last and final season?
Laurel, on the other hand, had been missing since the Season 5 finale. By the looks of it, the group has had a hard time to track her down. With the revelation of a casket in the trailer, is it possible that she is the one inside?
In an interview with TVLine, Amirah Vann, who plays Tegan Price, revealed not everyone would survive How to Get Away with Murder Season 6. "People you love are gonna die. Yes, D-I-E. Die," she said. "Not extras, not day players, but people you've been taking [this] journey with."
However, aside from a major death, showrunner Peter Norwalk also revealed the FBI's investigation would be an "ongoing plot point" that should be resolved. Although the FBI already knows a lot of things, they might still don't possess the evidence to charge them and who are they going to charge.
Despite the troubles they would face, they would never give up, and it would be featured prominently throughout the show's final episodes. How to Get Away with Murder Season 6 is set to be out on Thursday, Sept. 26, at 10/9c on ABC.
