WARNING: This article contains spoilers and predictions for The Blacklist Season 7.

For many months now, the fans are kept in the dark about Red's condition on The Blacklist Season 7. And while the teasers have continued to drop, no single detail has been ever confirmed about Red's fate after the previous installment.

In the last few moments of the sixth season, the fans have witnessed how Katarina drugged and "kidnapped" Red. While it seems that Red knows what he was doing when he decided to meet with her in Paris, it looks like he did not expect what Katarina would do to him.

The likes of Liz, Ressler, Aram, and Cooper, and even Agnes are already seen quite a lot of times in the previous teasers for The Blacklist Season 7. But as for Red, there were only speculations and theories all over the media not until recently when Entertainment Weekly finally released the first few looks of Red for the new season.

Based on the first set of teaser photos, it appears that Katarina Rostova kept Red as her prisoner. The appearance of Katarina is also largely depicted which largely denotes that her character will be present in almost all episodes of the new season.

Aside from being held captive, some of the photos also showed that there is a medical staff who monitors Red's condition. For some fans, it looks like Katarina is trying to get information out of Red by injecting him with dosages of who knows what it is.

No one could exactly predict yet how Red will escape. And considering that Paris is way out of the FBI's and the Task Force's jurisdictions, it might take time before Red could escape and return to the crew.

In an interview with E! Online, actresses Megan Boone and Laila Robins, who plays Liz and Katarina, respectively, revealed that The Blacklist Season 7 would center on "more actions" and possibly fewer "secrets."

The stars have further hinted that Katarina will "insinuate" herself in Liz's life. Also, the fans will never know what she'll be up to. But she'll be back for "vengeance."

It's quite intriguing how Katarina is in dire need of vengeance. But it gives the idea that Red or whoever he truly is did something wrong before towards her. And this is probably why she is now returning to take her revenge.

The official synopsis also revealed that Katarina's arrival would change Liz's relationship with Red forever. Not to mention, the danger will be so much closer to Liz and Agnes as they welcome Katarina in their lives, possibly unknowingly.

NBC's The Blacklist Season 7 will premiere on October 4.
