Anne Shirley is determined to find her roots in Anne With An E Season 3. As she embarked on her journey to locate her biological family, she encounters challenges along the way.

In the previous episode, the characters dealt with the death of Mary (Cara Ricketts) due to sepsis. Before she died, Mary made it clear that she wants her daughter, Delphine, to have an education and Bash (Dalmar Abuzeid) to handle all obstacles that get in her way.

After a heartwarming Episode 3, Anne With An E  Episode 4 looks to be a bit lighter. Anne (Amybeth McNulty) will embark on the next phase of her quest to find her origin. She wants to know her family's lineage and where they come from.

Meanwhile, it looks like Ka'kwet's (Kiawenti:io Tarbell) parents will finally come to terms about their daughter going to a boarding school. In the upcoming episodes, it looks like Ka'kwet will bond with Anne well.

Anne With An E  is based on the 1908 novel of Lucy Maud Montgomery, titled Anne of Green Gables. It was adapted for television by Emmy Award-winning writer and producer Moira Walley-Beckett.

The period drama was set in the 19th century. It tells the story of a high-spirited young girl, Anne Shirley, as she tries to settle into the fictional town of Avonlea with siblings Matthew and Marilla Cuthbert, who adopted her from an orphanage.

In Anne With An E  Season 3, the series protagonist turns 16, and she is ready to find everything about her birth parents. It looks like Anne will be away from Avonlea to look for her relatives.

Walley-Beckett said Season 3 would be the most intense installment of the series. It will have storylines about inclusion, romance, pathos, and growing pains for all the characters.

Fans have been waiting for the love story between Anne and Gilbert (Lucas Jade Zumann) to unfold. Although the two will continue to show interest in each other, love will not be a priority for either one of them this season. Anne will be more focus on learning more about her heritage with Gilbert gets more inspired to be a doctor, especially after Mary's death in the previous episode.

Anne With An E  Season 3 airs on CBC every Sunday. Episode 4 will be available on October 13. It will also premiere on Netflix on January 3, 2020.
